malevolent Fairy Carabosse curses Princess Aurora to 100 years of slumber, by a single prick of her finger on her 16th birthday. Doomed by fate, only a Prince's true love kiss can break the spell and awaken the sleeping beauty of Aurora. This classic ballet, composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, appeals to audiences of all ages and is captivating to behold. Alongside local children in supporting roles, Colorado West Performing Arts Company dancers will take the stage in dazzling tutus and tiaras, displaying their beauty, grace, and athleticism.
