THE USED

When Bert McCracken says that the songs that

comprise Toxic Positivity are some of the most sincere he has ever written, you know he doesn’t speak those words lightly. For as long as he can remember, McCracken has used music as an outlet to lay bare his innermost thoughts and emotions. For 23 years, that writing has enabled The Used to deeply resonate with fans the world over. Exploding off the back of universally adored rock anthems such as ‘The Taste Of Ink’, ‘Take It Away’ and ‘Pretty Handsome Awkward’, the many millions of streams and record sales (including the platinum-certified The Used and In Love And Death) their career has yielded are one thing; the human connection formed between artist and audience is priceless, however. To that end alone, The Used can consider themselves four of the luckiest and richest men in music.

and Lyrics by Mark Hollman, Book and Lyrics by Greg Kotis February 29-March 9 Rated PG (mild profanity, sexual innuendo) In a dystopian, not-so-distant future, a water shortage has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The poor are oppressed under a corrupt monopoly until a revolt is led by a brave young hero. Offering a fresh perspective on the musical theatre genre, Urinetown is a hilarious and irreverent satirical musical in which no one is safe from scrutiny.

celebrating the life, works, and inspiration of Edgar Allan Poe. This year, individuals will be roaming Main Street performing short works by Poe or those inspired by Poe. Edgar Allan Poe did not make money off of his work during his lifetime. He died on October 7, 1849, after having been found lying in the street wearing someone else's clothing. It is in this way that our street performances honor his life. If you are wondering how much you might donate, Poe was compensated for The Raven with $9. 100% of donations will benefit The Poe Project. This event typically runs about $100-$300/year to produce including printing costs, venues, fees for credit card payments, and other overhead. The Poe Project is a month-long festival springing off with Poe Week from October 1st through 7th annually, culminating on the date of Edgar Allan Poe's death. We invest in our community by giving a portion of the proceeds from each and every event to the local non-profit of the sponsor’s choice.
