Telluride Blues and Brews 2016

HEADLINERS - Gary Clark Jr.
From Austin, TX, this musical wizard began his guitar-journey at age 12 and in his teens starting playing with Jimmie Vaughn (like Stevie-Ray) because of Clifford Antone.
His talent was apparent, so prominent musical acts in Austin helped launch Clark up into the rock n' roll scene, propelling him to recognition and appreciation.
Blak & Blu came out in 2012 and Clark couldn't stop the train then, he was just too good.
So grab your copy of The Story of Sonny Boy Slim and let's take a look at the "best of" Gary Clark Jr. here at KAFM.

He's had quite the track record here since he intitally put out Blak & Blu, so I thought it'd be neat to see what tracks we here at KAFM spin the most!
Between his two major-label studio albums, live albums and otherwise, I compiled a list of songs most-played on our airwaves.
1. When My Train Pulls In
2. Bright Lights
3. Travis County
4. Don't Owe You a Thang
5. The Healing
6. Cold Blooded
7. Things Are a Changin'
8. Third Stone From the Sun / If You Love Me Like You Say
9. Next Door Neighbor Blues
10. Church
Do you have a favorite Gary Clark Jr. jam? Hit up the comments, let us know!
I'll let you know what songs he played at Telluride Blues and Brews after this weekend!
I can only imagine if he played all of KAFM's favorite songs, that might actually be too much to handle. In a good way.
